CBD Gummies

We made Naternal because our own families use CBD oil and other CBD products, but we weren’t able to find another CBD brand that could deliver the high quality we’ve rightfully come to expect from health and wellness companies. Since we live in Research Triangle Park, NC, a global life science innovation center, we’ve been able to partner with local farmers and manufacturing facilities to create the best CBD products using all-natural ingredients, extracts, and terpenes. Our goals are to create superior CBD products with therapeutic use and sell them at affordable prices, uphold the same quality standards you’d expect from any other health and wellness company, and take full advantage of our research centers.

Our products are made for people with a passion for self-care, and our product line is dedicated to your education and helping you find the perfect CBD treatment for you. CBD can be taken in a variety of forms, including CBD oil with a dropper, capsules, topicals like lotions and creams, and many more. We’re proud to announce that we’ve recently added a new type of CBD product to our lineup, each with the perfect amount of CBD. We invite you to try out our best CBD gummies.

Nurture CBD Gummies

Naternal gummies are vegan and contain organic ingredients. They’re perfect for those on-the-go or those who don’t like the taste of CBD oil, even when mixing it in their favorite beverages or smoothies. For those who prefer edibles, or who simply want a more enjoyable way to get their CBD dose, our gummies are the best way to get what you need without synthetic cannabinoids, pesticides, derivatives, artificial flavonoids, preservatives, heavy metals, and other ingredients that you just don’t need. We believe this is a more natural way for you to get your self-care products without resorting to prescription drugs that may have side effects or cause adverse effects.

We created our Nurture CBD Gummies for our oldest daughter to help with her night terrors. Growing up is tough, and we wanted to create a natural solution that could make intense times and adverse events a little easier. Nurture is a broad-spectrum CBD gummy containing 10mg of CBD and 50mg of elderberry extract per gummy. In addition to these ingredients, the rest of the formulation includes organic tapioca syrup, organic sugar, water, pure corn starch, pectin,

This product is easy to add to your daily routine, and adults may take one to two gummies per day. While we’ve made this product to be safe for children four years of age and older, those under 14 shouldn’t take more than one gummy per day. We recommend that you store the product in a cool, dry place, and keep it out of reach of children.

Ease CBD Gummies

This is one of our cannabis products that was created for one of our founders, and we’re confident that it can help boost your quality of life as well when you adapt it to your self-care regimen. These full-spectrum gummies are naturally flavored with strawberry hibiscus, and they contain 20 mg of full spectrum CBD mixed with the perfect amount of THC per gummy. Other ingredients used are the same as our Nurture gummies. We recommend these gummies just for adults, though. Start with a single gummy to see how you feel, and then you can increase the amount to find your perfect dosage. The CBD content and THC content are not high enough to cause intoxication or psychoactive effects, and again, that is not the purpose of this product.

How CBD Works

Cannabidiol is just one of many cannabinoids that occur naturally in the cannabis sativa and cannabis indica plants, as well as in the human body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). When ingesting CBD food products, like gummies, CBD is absorbed in the bloodstream and will encourage activity in the cannabinoid receptors in the brain, most notably the CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors.

The endocannabinoid system is believed to play an important role in many bodily functions. Your body’s ECS is active, even if you don’t use cannabis products. Additional scientific studies will need to be conducted to gain a full understanding of the ECS, but recent research has identified two main endocannabinoid types so far: anandamide (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglyerol (2-AG).

THC is the main active ingredient in the cannabis plant, and this endocannabinoid can bind to your CB1 receptors (found in the central nervous system) or CB2 receptors (found in the peripheral nervous system and immune cells). CBD acts differently, though, and doesn’t bind to the CB1 or CB2 receptor. There are still many unanswered questions regarding what it does bind to. Some researchers believe that CBD use simply ensures that other endocannabinoids don’t break down in the ECS, while others believe that CBD may bind to a currently undiscovered receptor. Its anti-inflammatory effects are suspected to play a significant role in its pain management uses.

There are other common cannabinoids found in hemp and in the body as well, including cannabinol (CBN), cannabichromine (CBC), and cannabigerol (CBG). Broad-spectrum and full-spectrum CBD products will contain a combination of cannabinoids, terpenes, and extracts that act together to produce increased effects. This phenomenon is called the entourage effect, and we provide many high-quality products that take advantage of it.

Side Effects and Health Concerns

We create our CBD products to be completely safe for your personal use as directed without the psychoactive effects of THC, but we understand that you may have health concerns or may want to see more scientific information before deciding if CBD is right for you. Our “Trust the Dose System” starts with 20 mg of CBD as the baseline dosage, and you can take higher doses or lower doses from there to find what works for you.

As for health concerns with CBD use, current research has found reason to believe that CBD may have an impact on liver enzymes necessary for metabolizing medications, which has raised concerns that CBD drug products may have adverse effects on a user’s liver, but additional research must be conducted. Speak to your healthcare provider to discuss these concerns, as well as your proper potency and dosage before trying new CBD products. It’s a good idea to ask about potential drug interactions as well if you’re taking prescription medicine. While these products are effectively legal across the U.S., you may want to check with your state laws and local legislation as well to make sure.

Reported side effects of CBD include dry mouth, diarrhea, reduced appetite, drowsiness, fatigue, irritability, and cravings for certain foods, but they’re generally reported as manageable. The FDA does advise against pregnant women using CBD and such products since we don’t currently know if high doses of CBD can produce abnormalities in the fetus. It’s also recommended to cease taking CBD if you experience signs of liver injury or other symptoms like extreme tiredness. According to the World Health Organization, there is currently no evidence of abuse potential for the recreational use of CBD or public health problems related to its use.
